• Circuit Planning: Plan the routing of neutral wires to minimize bends and intersections, preventing wear or mechanical stress .

Installation Procedure

1. Neutral Bus Bar Installation: Mount the neutral bus bar on the designated rail or side plate inside the distribution box. Secure it firmly with screws or bolts to prevent loosening .
2. Incoming Neutral Wire Connection: Strip 10–15 mm of insulation from the incoming neutral wire. Insert it into the bus bar inlet hole and tighten the screw to ensure a solid connection .
3. Outgoing Neutral Wire Distribution: Strip the insulation of each outgoing neutral wire and connect it to individual outlet holes on the bus bar. Only one wire per terminal should be used to avoid poor contact or overheating .

Integration with Circuit Protection

• Connect the incoming neutral from the main supply to the RCCB or main breaker input, then distribute to the neutral bus bar .
• For single-pole MCBs, only the phase wire is connected to the MCB, while the neutral wire from the load returns to the neutral bus bar .
• Ensure the earth wire is connected to the earth link and properly grounded to the earth pit for safety .

Safety and Inspection

• Verify all connections are tight and secure to prevent resistance heating or arcing .
• Use a multimeter to check continuity and ensure no open neutral conditions exist, as these can cause voltage imbalances and shock hazards .
